The purpose was to meet the fertilizer demand of the garden by buying 750 chicks and to cover the expenses of it from the income of 750 chicks on the area which was bought for designing fruit and hobby garden in 1972.

This did not happen as it had been thought to be and poultry sector became the family business of BARANOK family. By working for many years on this garden the production capacity increased to 7.750.000 pieces of egg. By following the developments of the sector in 1990 120.000m2area was bought and in three years the project design and the preparations were finished. In 1993 a new project design was started. Future layer production was started on a 6.000m2closed area and 43.800.000 pieces of egg and 225.000 pieces of future layer were produced and this project was ended in 1995. In 1999 15 ton feed capacity plant was launched and feed stuff need of the facility was fulfilled with this feed plant. So the second step of becoming an integrated plant was made.

Later on in 2002 establishing the second company Mithat BARANOK bought the area and finished the project designs of the third production site at the end of 2002 and on a 55.000m2area by building 5.500m2chicken coop and getting 47.500.000 pieces of egg with 270.000 pieces of future layer and 15 ton/hour feed production he finished the third project.

In 2008 because of the foreign countries’ demand the company started to export and it increased annual sale from 340.000 pieces to 40.000.000 pieces and still protects its foreign market share.

In 2009 he took the fourth step for integrated facility by establishing egg grading facility, packaging unit and chill store on a 2.400m2closed area and increasing the storage capacity of raw material.

Producing 135.050.000 pieces of egg, 450.000 pieces of future layer, 22.000 ton feed stuff with cold air packaging unit and exporting of 40.000.000 pieces of egg BARANOK HAYVANCILIK A.S. serves to the Egg Lovers in the whole world by 2010.
The one who established the company in 1997 was Mevlut Ekim having a quarter century experience. Since its establishment continuing with the principle “without sacrificing quality and actual innovation” the company succeeded to break new ground in the area where it was established and ranked standardization and branding first to be a national company rather than regionalism. In our 45 million pcs egg production capacity the benefits of staff and technology is integrated for “quality products and after product quality”. In two separate poultry farm situated in different places in Konya we continue to provide eggs with 140.000 layer hens in 6 hencoops which is “the most quality chicken race”. All the hencoops have got conformity certificates and proper for health and hygiene in accordance with the laws. In our feed units where the needs of our chicken poultries are supplied with 10 ton/hour capacity we work with the leading companies, use the best quality products for top yields, get consultancy and service from experts for human health, prefer delicate firms for standardization. The biggest infrastructure study on “Branding and Differentiation” is our brand “Tatyum”. After a long marathon of its registration the brand has scored with people by having a marketshare in a very short time and its naturalness. It still continues to get attention of our customers in markets. The sales, supervision and aftersale guarantee is coordinated with together. The first step of national market studies is the branch in Bursa. The eggs produced in our integrated facilities are presented to the customers in Bursa after Konya. We also have been making preparations for international certification and to decrease external dependence by market searches and providing the raw materials within our constitution for capacity increase and the easiness of actual pursuance. Derya Tavukculuk San.Tic.Isl. A.S. was established by Necip Pala in 1983 to be in service of poultry husbandry with 45.000 chicken capacity egg hen and 70.000 chick capacity pullets. The capacity of 1990 increased to 75.000 chickens and in 1996 to 90.000 chickens.

Since 2000 the company renewed its all facilities with the developing technology and production facility having full automatic feeding system, air conditioning system and egg collection system. And the company increased its capacity to 200.000 chickens. Derya Tavukculuk expanded its business with increased capacity feeding facility, egg packaging facility, egg storage units and cold rooms.

Having a place in the market with tasteful and qualified eggs in the result of feed rations the company is registered with deryum brand taken in 2004.

Since 2005  our company is exporting eggs to many country.Our brand mark "deryum" is well known brand. In 2011 we established a new company Derya Yumurta Ihr.ve Ith.Ticaret Ltd.Sti which is our export company.
